The Ultimate Ultimae For India: The N/A Garage's Ultimae!

Lamborghini Aventador, the one model from the Italian marquee which needs no much introduction to be said for. Even I’ve done more than one article on the whole V-12 Lamborghini Bloodline. Scroll down the line to find them and read. So as said on my earlier posts, the Aventador is the spiritual successor of the Countach, one of the iconic makes from the Italian production house, and the successor of the Murciélago, another raging bull famous for the rough handling and drivability.

The Aventador was introduced as a more tamable, modern make from the company, looking forward to sustain the model as their long term project. Carrying the DNA traits from the spiritual great great grandfather Miura, the spiritual great grandfather Countach, the spiritual grand father Diablo and the predecessor Murciélago, the Aventador was an absolute hit in the market, gaining popularity and building reputation for being one of the most iconic contemporary classics from Automobili Lamborghini.

Breaking the cover of the very first avatar back in the 2011 Geneva International Motor show, it started the journey on the roads around the world conquering the hearts of the public. Aventador was and is still famous its aggressive styling and the very powerhouse packed into it-the iconic Lamborghini Naturally Aspirated V-12 engine.

Through the timeline of the model, Aventador got a wide variety of derivations, performance editions and more. According to the Lamborghini model layout each model had their roadster and coupe versions. The very first one was the LP-700-4 and its roadster version, the second one was the Aventador SuperVeloce and its roadster version, the third one was the Aventador S and its roadster version, the fourth one was the Aventador SVJ, the SuperVeloce Jota and its roadster, and last but not the least the Aventador Ultimae and its roadster form. Each new iteration had their own cosmetic and performance updates given the timeline.

The Aventador Ultimae is the final hurrah to the glorious era of raging bulls, the last derivative of the Aventador series. They have named it pretty accurate! I have done a post describing the whole Aventador Bloodline which is why I am shortening the details, if you want to read that check it out on the blog. The Aventador Ultimae LP-780_4 being the last of its kind is limited in numbers. There are about 350 Coupe variants and 250 Roadster variants which are rolling off the production line.

As for the looks and overall appearance, the Ultimae looks as pleasing as an Aventador S, not as wild as an SVJ, but still low and lurking like an SV. Yeah the youngest brother shares the same trait, almost!. As of the other Aventadors, this young one packs in the latest iteration of the power packed naturally aspirated V-12 engine, the L-539 6.5-L NA V-12 spitting out some serious power figures of 780 horsepower and 720 N-M of torque. I should say that is something that suits the last hurrah. After being unveiled globally, the Ultimae has reached Indian shores too.

There are a total of four Aventador Ultimaes in India, two coupes and two roadsters. They are Praveen Agarwal's (@Praveen212) LP-780_4 Roadster Giallo Auge with Arancio accents, the maiden Ultimae to touch the Indian shores. Another LP-780_4 Roadster AdPersonam Arancio Bruciato owned by Mr Rohan Singh (@Rohan8174), the first Ultimae in the world to be chosen in this color. An LP-780_4 Coupe AdPersonam Viola Parsifae, the first coupe variant for India, the bull, bought by an unknown owner that currently sleeps in the darkness of a garage in Pune, Maharashtra. And Last But not the least, the most expensive raging bull to reach the Indian shores, the highest specced raging bull in the whole Asian continent, the LP-780_4 Coupe AdPersonam Rosso Efesto owned by The N/A Garage (@The_NA_Garage) from South India.

The owner, who has not disclosed his name yet, is one of the die hard worshipers of the Italian automobile pioneer, Automobili Lamborghini. Which is a clear statement from the name itself. Through this account (@The_NA_Garage) our man is expressing his overflowing love and respect towards the company. He has put up into words some of his track day experiences and other Lamborghini related news and thoughts, you should read them they are just lovely.

The story of this specific example of the Ultimae is pretty interesting. Being a Lamborghini freak, @The_NA_Garage wanted to own a raging bull so badly and he wanted it to be pretty special too. He contacted the only authorized dealer of Lamborghini in south India, @LamborghiniBengaluru and placed an order for a beast. While speccing his car, he chose many of the expensive options available for his Kohinoor Of the bulls in India.

It was from the same dealership that he got the car delivered to. Being his maiden Lamborghini, The NA Garage chose to take the delivery of the car through 'LA PRIMA', as he chose for the factory collection, the most exclusive and expensive way to get your bull out. He is one of the only three to four costumers to take delivery of their examples through this very special way. As a part of the LA PRIMA delivery, the costumer gets an exclusive privilege of visiting the company headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy and to visit the production line up close in person, where the bulls roll out.

As if this car wasn’t special enough, the owner wanted to make it extra special by adding the signatures of Lamborghini Executives inside the engine bay of this car. When he requested Lamborghini Bengaluru for that, it didn’t go as planned.
But, the almighty always recognizes and rewards those who possess deep passion. The owner managed to get the signatures and a special drawing of the Countach LPI800-4 by Mitja Borkert, the Head of Design inside the engine bay during the La Prima factory delivery in Italy.

He felt much honored and humbled to have received the key to his maiden Lamborghini in the presence of this top level officials. His car got signed by Mr. Fabio Meneghetti (@FabioMeneghetti.9) the Product Manager, Lamborghini Aventador, Mr. Domenico Beccia the Customer Journey & Retail Marketing Head, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A, Ms. Erika Puccetti the Shift Leader, Lamborghini Aventador Production Line, Ms. Camilla Keim (@CamiKeim ) the Customers Specialist and Studio Manager, Lamborghini AdPersonam, Mr. Giulio Bai the Legal Services, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A who were present on the occasion.

They signed the bull on the right engine bay. The cherry on the top was, as said earlier, the hand drawn sketch of Lamborghini Countach LPI-800_4, the newest edition of the spiritual grandpa of Aventador Ultimae, done on the spot by Mr Mitja Brokert (@MitjaBorkert), the Design Director at Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. The bull can definitely have the bragging rights for the exclusivity of these signs and sketches!. After his "Drago" landed in India and completed the pre-delivery inspection, @The_NA_Garage sent him to Ceramic Pro Bengaluru for detailing and applying a complete PPF coating.

More about the Asia's most expensive specification, this piece of icon is finished in Rosso Efesto paint job from the AdPersonam Pellet, which itself makes the car look more glossy, like a super strong red wine, something that is more than enough to pull some crowd and turn some head wherever you go. This shade is not something like a fluorescent or bright red, but a more dark, subtle one. In contrast with the paint job, there are plenty of shiny black carbon fibre accents all around such as the Front Bonnet Air Outlets, A-Pillars, entire roof panel, Rear Air scoops, the c-pillar intakes and many more to count.

The contrasting finish makes the car to be presented like a rare piece of artwork. The owner chose for transparent engine compartment lid than that of exposed carbon lid, which gives us a sneak peek of a sleeping beast caged inside, the iconic NA V-12.

As on every other Lamborghini, there is the Black Anodized Hexagonal firing order Plaque on the lower part of the T shape Carbon Fibre Trim piece saying "V12 ORDINE DI ACCENSIONE 1 12 4 9 2 11 6 7 3 10 5 8". This was first introduced as an ornament on the Lamborghini Diablo. The public got hooked up by that and seeing the positive response from the crowd, Lamborghini decided to expand this ornament to their other models.

This example wears the Leirion Forged Lightweight center lock wheels, which first showed up in the Aventador SVJ, the SuperVeloce Jota, painted in matte bronze with contrasting red calipers and red anodized center lock with shiny black lock caps with Lamborghini Logo inscribed on it. The exterior is overall in contrast with some standard finishes, shiny black dipped carbon fibre matte black accents along with Bronzo Oreadi finished pinstripe adds the final touch to the top level exterior.

The whole interior is upholstered with Nero Cosmus Alcantara which is proper Black, with contrasting Bronze stitching along with Nero Ade, the dark grey and Rosso Alala which is Bright Red. The contrast of Nero Cosmus, Bronzo, Nero Ade and Rosso Alala is just perfect for the overall color scheme of the car and works beautifully well inside the Lamborghini. The owner went for a complete package, the interior carbon pack, which adds shiny carbon fibre bits around the cockpit. And being the only one option, the owner went for electric and heated seats with exposed carbon back ends which is on the side of comfort rather than the performance focus.

The standard LAMBORGHINI badge on the passenger side is inscribed in shiny black finish, the AVENTADOR is inscribed on the door sills in white color. On the side bolsters the name ULTIMAE is embroidered in Bronzo finish and the Lamborghini Shield on the head-rest as every other Lamborghini and is also finished in Bronzo. The drivers side A pillar has a unique plaque of authentication, finished in exposed carbon fibre and cut into a hexagonal shape. Inside the plate there is this inscription in white which says "AVENTADOR ULTIMAE 001 DI 350". Every Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae customer will get this inscription plate which is a kind of authentication from the company themselves.

As I have mentioned earlier, this Aventador Ultimae packs in the iconic Lamborghini NA V12, the one from 2 M dollar Lamborghini Countach LPI-800_4, a L-539 6.5 L Naturally Aspirated V12 which is capable of producing 780 HP and 720 NM when coupled with 7 speed single clutch ISR Automated Manual gearbox with violent but crunchy shifts. This will do the 0-60 MPH pull in 2.8 seconds, 0-124 MPH pull in 8.7 seconds and keeps pulling all the way up to 221 MPH which is 355 KPH.

It seems @The_NA_Garage just went down the factory to check every single box in the spec sheet for his Lambo, because the official price tag is not released yet but it is estimated to be around 1.3 Million
USD, I agree with my brother calling it the Kohinoor of the Bulls!. The Base price of the Aventador Ultimae Coupe is 498,260 USD and that of the Ultimae Roadster is 546,850 USD. So if you are cruising down the streets of the South Side, South India, look out for a red raging bull lurking down the streets which is ready to pounce on you with a violent roar!.
