Maruthi Suzuki is an auto mobile company which is most famous and popular in India. There are so many reasons for Maruthi to be a popular vehicle brand in India. For every common person in India their first car will be a Maruthi. Maruthi is still continuing the peak position in case of popularity and sales percentages. The graphs are so high that no company probably anytime soon can beat it out.(probably). And the graphs will tell you what the brand Maruthi is for us Indians.
The factors which make the brand Maruthi so popular are so much. Firstly you know that Maruthi is an Indian auto mobile brand and the reliability and accountability of Maruthi products are awe inspiring. Maruthi still keeps the best selling trophy because of its cost of the product and another financial expenses. In the case of a Maruthi owner 

he/she can drive the car enjoy the car at a low cost expenses. Saying about the models of Maruthi the MS800 is the first model of Maruthi and is still the most common model of the Maruthi. If you are wondering what is MS800 it is just the Maruthi Suzuki 800 itself. The most funniest fact about the MS800 is that it is the most modified vehicle from the old Gen onwards. And till now the Maruthi alto is the best seller car in India with a sales graph of 40 lakhs plus sales and at less maintenance cost. But from all these facts you should never underestimate the power of a common Maruthi. The NEXA motors which is the premium branch of Maruthi is selling the premium segment vehicles like the Ciaz, Baleno, swift, Ignis and S Cross.

Now talking about the Vitara Breeza, Launched in the 2016 with a sensation, Vitara Breeza is the SUV below the model the Grand Vitara. More technically speaking Vitara Breeza is the Compact Sub 4 meter SUV from our own Maruthi Suzuki and saying about the new update its really catchy and is so noticeable. Already Breeza has given an identity of its own in the industry and market and it is one of the most favorite car all over India. And I can say that Breeza has definitely glamoured the image of Maruthi in India. The new Breeza is available in 4 different variants/trims; they are: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI+ and there you have 9 different and elegant colors available including the dual tone option.

Now Lets Talk About the Car ;

Exterior :

As the older versions of Breeza the new Breeza is muscular and looks bold, more 

correctly it looks a bit bolder. The noticeable changes given to the face lifted version are really catchy. The new changes given are; the front grill design has changed. The vertical slotted grill division has changed to horizontal division and the new style has given the car a more bolder look but the old cuteness and welcoming feel is not taken apart. Coming sideways to the front lamps the new multi function DRL insertion has increased the style element and practicability and the sleek, elegant headlamps are dual projector headlamps. In the hood we have 2 hood lines which really gives the car a muscular feel. At the bottom of the headlamp unit we have the fog lamp unit which gives a reasonable visibility. The fog lamps and some other features are only for the top most variant. The front portion glares out due to the chrome elements on the front grill and this makes the car stand out in the crowd for sure and thus the car is definitely a head turner. Along with that the black inserts on the fog lamp unit and projecting skid plate gives a bold character. Overall the front portion of the car is shaped practically without compromising the boldness and the style and the changes are really noticeable and makes the car more aggressive.

Now coming to the side profile of the car there are so many elements which makes the car look so bold especially the 

body lines on the sides are giving a bold character for the car and are really emphasizing the SUVness of the car. The tyres of a car plays an important role in characterizing the type of car, the road presence and off road capabilities. The big 16 inch wheels gives the car a compact SUV look. The dual tone five spoke (literally 10) alloy wheels gives the car a serious character. The shoulder line is given sharpness by the body line stating from the headlamps unit and ending on the B pillar. And as a continuation there is a body line from the rear lamp to the C pillar. The C pillar have another interesting element that is the 

quarter glass design which is beautiful and practical. The wheel arch which is a bit bulged outwards give the car a rough and tough look, along with the skirt line which is elegant in any case. In the top variant that is the dual tone, top roof is elegant and the design of the roof is great they had tried well to carve out a floating roof design. All these elements makes the side profile visually look good. Coming to the rear end of the car; the first catchy change which comes into my eyes is the new LED divided tail lamp design which is super cool. The bulgy design elements carve out the rear end into serious car. But Maruthi didn't change the rear design totally they have kept some small elements as such, 

for example the rear design is as same as that of the old Breeza, which is not so satisfactory for me, they should have changed it, but it is compensated by the rear light design and other new addons. In the dual tone variant the black color itself is enough for the aggressive look of the car. The roof rails can be distinguished and gives the car an SUV character as mentioned above. The rear spoiler increases the sporty feel of the car. The rear skid plate is placed elegantly adaptive to the character of the car.

Now lets take a peek at the hood of this tallboy compact SUV of Maruthi.

Here we can see a 1.5 liter 4 valve K15B ISG (K sires)petrol mild hybrid (smart  progressive hybrid) engine with a torque of 138nm at a rpm of 4400 and with a power of 103.26 bhp at a rpm of 6000. this speaks to us that this muscle man is pretty powerful.Altogether saying about the exterior and engine of the new Breeza Its something more good than the old version Its a kind of for those who want a muscular but cost effective vehicle, which is powerful enough for highway cruising and the one which standout in a crowd. 

Interior:

Now lets get in to the interior of the car. The all black interior gives the car a premium finish. When we open the door we gets a feel of entering into a luxury car. Maruthi had tried their best to make Breeza a luxury compact SUV and Breeza is the most popular compact SUV with more than 500,000 units on road. The interior quality has been improved very well. The seats are comfortable and cozy with reasonable leg room thigh support and nice outside view. Lets get into the front seat and check out the features. As said above, the black finish have given the car a premium finish and 

feel. The plastic quality used inside is good. The steering wheel of Breeza is small and responsive, we can maneuver the car easily without getting the feel that we are driving a compact SUV. From the steering wheel the next striking element is the sporty, stylish meter console. The meter console is well placed and aggressive. But one element which is making the meter console less elegant is the nob stick placed tor trip meter and for changing the odometer and the mini screen settings. They should have placed is in some more elegantly. But over all the style and practical meter console is looking good and perfectly fit.

The leather wrapped steering wheel consist of the cruise control buttons and multimedia control buttons which is pretty common these days. The AC vents have placed beautifully and the AC vent design is pretty similar to the string instruments which is giving a classic ambiance to the car, the borders of the AC vents are given a piano black finish. The side door panels consist of the power window buttons. When we come to the center console we can see a touch screen infotainment system which is 7 inch. The infotainment system is similar to us because we have seen it in the new Wagon R and Ignis, the same 

infotainment system has been used here also. There is an interesting fact on the 7 inch screen, we can watch photos and videos if we park the car (only for the top variant I think). The screen column border is also given a piano black finish as we see in the premium cars. Coming downwards to the climate control panel, we can see the AC control buttons, the automatic climate control AC is pretty powerful and thus the fan is a bit noisy after the second step of the fan speed.

Now coming to the gearbox section we have a 4 speed torque converter Automatic transmission which is reasonably smooth. We have a chrome element on the hand break tip. There is a multi functional armrest which is also a storage space the storage is pretty deep but not so wide but it is movable which increases the elements of comfort. There are many more storage spaces and cup holders which gives a solution to the problem of storage unit, and as an extra feature Maruthi is providing dual glove boxes.

Now lets go to the rear seat. Coming to the rear seat we have a quality thigh support and leg room. As a new feature they have installed a hook which can hold a weight up to 3kg In case of sub 4 meter SUV s Breeza has the best rear portion. Head room is lavish because of its tall boy design. A quarter glass have been placed in order not to give a claustrophobic feel, the visibility outside is great and the seats are giving a high seating position providing a feel of sitting in a full size SUV. The upholstery materials are of good quality. And 2 adults and one kid on the rear seat is recommend due to  the transmission tunnel. But it is not so bulgy. There is an arm rest on the rear seat integrated with 2 cup holders. Maruthi is 

never compromising in case of safety with dual front airbag they are assuring safety for their costumers. In the case of babies also Maruthi is giving some care, they have enabled the feature to fix baby seats on the back seats. There are so many other features which are common now a days like the ABS with EBD (available as a standard feature.).

Now lets come to the boot portion of the car, the boot space is good with 328 liters we can pack an average everyday luggage of an Indian family, and is good for long drives also. The rear seat can be folded in the ratio 60:40 which makes the car more  accountable.

Final Notes :

So overall saying about the car, we all know how popular Breeza is for Maruthi. Marathi's first sensational and most welcomed launch was of the Breeza and that had given them a challenge to do the face lift. The reason why Breeza is the most welcomed SUV in India is because it gave a signature for Maruthi in the Compact SUV segment and introduction of Breeza announced the debut of Maruthi into the Compact SUV in Indian Market The challenge given to them was not to change the body structure but to improvise it. And at the end of the day Maruthi has done the job awesomely without reshaping the popular body structure but inserting new features and 

characteristic elements to make the car look beautiful and to give the SUV bold character out of all this face lift had given Breeza timely required changes and hence increasing popularity. And Breeza is customization friendly, so we can do many modifications aftermarket and that is a fact which makes Breeza is so popular. At last it is a Maruthi so the service and maintenance cost is affordable and service is available anywhere and everywhere.
